Cristina loves to empower people, helping them find the tools and strengths they need to overcome the many obstacles they find in life. Throughout her training at Alliant International University, Cristina worked in locations such as Center for Community Solutions working with sexual assault survivors and grief work with children through Camp Erin. Cristina has always focused on relationship and connection with loved ones as a means to discover the deeper more meaningful aspects of ourselves.
Cristina has a heart for pre-teens, teenagers and young adults. She has worked with young people of many different ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds with a wide range of challenges. Through Camp Erin, she worked with young people getting through grief and loss. At Fred Finch, she worked with teenagers struggling through a variety of traumas, family challenges and school issues. At the Pacifica Group, Cristina also specializes in trauma using EMDR therapy and helping people move past a variety of issues that get them stuck in patterns. Those issues include both small traumas and large. Growing up as a first generation Latina, she understands living in the difficulties and challenges of multiple cultures and managing cultural differences amongst family members. She is bi-lingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
