A Bit About Me
First and foremost, I am passionate about mindfulness because, after just 8 weeks of MBSR training, I noticed a difference in my own life. It was subtle, but it was real.
I have been teaching Mindfulness since 2015. In 2013, I attended my first Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class and found that my relationship with stress changed, and I got excited about it! I was very interested in learning more, so I took more classes. In 2015, I attended her first MBSR Teacher Training and since then I’ve been teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Introduction to Mindfulness, Mindfulness and Self Compassion for Teens, and Mindfulness for children.
I also teach for UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness and am the Acting Director for the Youth, Family, and Education Programs. My thought is, if we share these skills with children and teens it will put them on the path to making healthy choices and impact their future in a positive way.
